Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Mazari Landrace very often denoted by the full name of city "Mazar I sharif" is a pure indica Landrace cultivar from Mazar in the Balkh province of Northern Afghanistan. It expresses a truly squat - bushy super Indica structure with great yeilds. It also expresses purple to red hues during later part of flowering in colder nights.
