Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Mazjam

A Mazari IBL strawberry tasting female has been bred with several males from a line of private, pure Jamaican Lambsbread. This hybrid is Mazari dominant but the Jamaican increases size of flowers and gives a hint of banana aroma. Effects are dreamy and mellow with a clean body high, but high doses can give a more trippy experience. Generation F2 Flowering time: 12-14 Weeks 60/40% Indica/Sativa
