Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Meganuska
Original marijuana genetics developed by Élite Seeds, an updated version of the legendary Alaskan strain from the Matanuska valley. Thus, Meganuska comes from selecting and breeding this strain, crossing it with a California Skunk to achieve a mostly Indica variety that develops huge frosty buds. It reaches an average height of around 2.5m, developing many side branches that gives it a lush and bushy appearance. It ripes really fast, in about 8 weeks we have average yields of buds completely covered with huge trichome glands that shine like milky diamonds. The aroma is complex, sweet and sour and with chocolate notes. The effect is overwhelming, narcotic and very intense.
