Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Melon Patch
One of our testers favorites. This has some of thee most intense aromas and flavors in a cultivar in some time. From the Humboldt Seed Company-Magic Melon parent, the flavor is a unmistakable honeydew/cantalope ripe melon. It fills the air and when you smoke the flavor is bouncing off your palette. The complement of the Project 13 just made the bud to leaf ratio better and carried a slight sweet fruit tone to the waterfall of melon flavor. The combo made a better version for us and toned down the huge PM problem the Magic Melon has. While PM can still be a issue, good HEPA and ventilation we were able to control it, but those will be needed. This is a LTD cultivar and once the packs are gone so is the seedline. Some good things are just not meant to last.
This is a quick cultivar harvesting outdoors around late September to early October. Indoors harvests will be around 53-58 days. These grow about 150% after flower. Large colas will also develop requiring environmental control. PM prone so HEPA filtering is needed. Extremely aromatic to odor controls could be needed. Huge flavor of sweet ripe melon with same aroma at harvest. THC heavy with a most carrying this trait.
