Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Mexican Haze
Dampkring Classics own version of the ever popular Mexican Haze. The male used in this 3-way hybrid was bought back from Mexico in in 1995 and used in many breeding programmes since. The female is a stabilized F1 of 2 extra special plants, one of them being the same mother used to create other delights such as Ocean's Twelve.
