Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 50%Sativa 50%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Midnight Express F2
This is our first backcross of Midnight Express x Midnight Express. We used the same male that we had lab tested for highest in CBD and best structure and crossed with our purple female. We were only hoping for a stable 3:1 or 4:1 cross, yet we flowered 2 females and both labs have come back in the 20:1 CBD range. We cannot promise that every phenotype grown out will be this high in CBD, however 2 out of 2 is very promising that this is a stable strain, and we will be providing addition labs that will hopefully confirm this in the near future. Some phenotypes may be lower in CBD:THC ratio and some may actually be higher. Branches train fairly easy into colas and will support their own weight throughout flower in a scrog set up. 50% or higher rate for purple phenotypes. These are regular seeds, so male pollen may also have a very high CBD:THC ratio
