Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Midwest Frost

This cultivar has grown some of the frostiest flowers in my current collection. The trichomes produced by this cultivar have an almost sandy/gritty consistency instead of greasy and is great for making concentrates. With it's mixed Berry flavors and purple shades it is sure to be a favorite. Great for pain relief and sleep
