Chemotype
Type I
THC-dominant
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Terpene profiles are sourced from Certificates of Analysis (COA) and roll out as Areto’s lab-verified data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Mimosa Dream
Kannabia Seed Company's breeders have used two highly valued strains by quality cannabis lovers, Clementine and Purple Punch. The result is a plant that adapts to any cultivation environment, growing like an Indica, yet with Sativa vigour that allows it to express the traits of a robust and strong plant. Mimosa Dream, depending on the cultivation conditions, can exhibit beautiful purple colours in a very stable plant that produces very high yields of up to 500g per m2. It is perfectly suited to SOG cultivation, with a flowering period of about 60 days after the photoperiod change. Outdoors, this plant grows up to 2m in height provided with enough space. It has an incredible resistance to humidity problems and pest attacks. It is ready to harvest during the first weeks of October, with yields of up to 700g per plant depending on growing conditions. Mimosa Dream Variety, sweetness for deep relaxation
Mimosa Dream offers delicious flavours, simple but very effective, slightly sweet grapefruit citric aromas. The flavours are never heavy, with an overall aromatic experience that is not overwhelming. It produces effects of an Indica Sativa hybrid quality, with strong muscle relaxation an
