Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 50%Sativa 50%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

Bayan Olgii is situated in a very interesting and unique location between Russia to the North, Kazakhstan to the West and China to the South. Mongolia is a line with intensive growth throughout the vegetative phase during which long internodes are formed and at the beginning of the development there are not many lateral branches. During veg, the smell is not particularly intense, although, after a touch and a stem rub, a faintly oily to hashish smell can be caught. This is a line that does not require special care. The plants from Bayan Olgii produce fairly compact and frosty buds in almost any condition. It appears to be quite resistant to drought, which ensures a well-developed root system. The stem is hollow and flexibl
