Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Monkey Tracks

Currently in testing made summer of 2021. Used a bomb cut of GG. Definitely wasn't the #4 because it was a bright green pheno and the true #4 is a darker bud when finished. But definitely carried the growth trait and the taste/effect/yield/bag appeal was definitely better than what I remember as GG4. The male used leaned towards deathstar with no fruit no before or during flowering but did offer a nice funky/fuel stem rub
