Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). The dominant terpenes below are aggregated from community and lab reporting; aroma and effect associations are preliminary and not medical claims. Lab-verified COA profiles roll out as Areto’s data comes online.

Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Moon Boots

A resin bomb with an explosive effect Moon Boots is an Indica dominant hybrid, a cross between two original and complementary genetic lines. On the one hand, White Tahoe Cookies (White x Tahoe x OG Girl Scout Cookies) providing a compact structure and fleshy flowers covered by a white thick resin layer. On the other hand, Archive Seeds Moon Bow #75, which provides intense and exotic aromas improving its terpenic profile while preserving the mother qualities. Moon Boots produces compact plants with a limited stretch during the transition to the flowering stage. They adapt perfectly to indoor cultivation and limited spaces. The well-branched plants adapt well to pruning, trellising and SCROG cultivation thus promoting a more abundant harvest and easily occupying the entire growing area. It is ready for harvest after about 63-72 days of flowering, producing large, round, fleshy, resin-coated flowers that deliver a wild honey sweet floral aroma, with incense and potpourri touches on a Kush background. Its effect inspired its name to Archive Seeds, manifesting quickly and orbiting us for a while, lost in our thoughts and physically relaxed. Archive Seeds Moon Boots info: Type: Feminized
