Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About MTF Cookies

This old world, true IBL indica, has been gracing the underground grows in Alaska, and later, Washington, and Oregon, for over 35 years, and is now available in seed form crossed to our Grateful Breath Stud. The combination of this IBL indica and popular new poly-hybrid cookie/OG cross produces a gene pool dominated by shorter, indica plant structures, wide fan leaves, and a somewhat consistent phenotypic variation given our stud's diverse gene pool. Added color and frost to the old school MTF from the Grateful Breath, makes this one of our favorite new strains.
