Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Mudhoney
Mudhoney is a CBD rich cross that combines Kobain Kush (Choc Bubba Leaner) with my Medicated OG Bx (Harlequin x (Triple Barrel OG x Harlequin) that was 3:1. A scale of the offspring showed a near 1:1 CBD/THC ratio, with some leaning both ways. Some of the leaners that test higher in THC with little to no CBD have been shown to have CBG, CBC and THCv. This strain has been known to carry DELTA 8 as well. Average tests show around 20% total cannabinoids. A very bushy, easily trained plant.
Look for the Double Barrel leaners that tend to have a sweet OG smell. Very interesting smells ranging from Funky incense Kush to Skunk and Pine trees. Very Grungy!
