Type I
THC-dominant
Terpene profile most dominant first
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). The dominant terpenes below are aggregated from community and lab reporting; aroma and effect associations are preliminary and not medical claims. Lab-verified COA profiles roll out as Areto’s data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Nirvana
The fabled East Coast Sour Diesel clone only hit by our Pre 98 Bubba Kush leaning Kobain stud. We wanted to add stability, structure, as well as the signature full on chocolate kush flavor to complement the sour-gas-fuel notes of ECSD. Loaded with winners, it will be up to the gardeners to pick their favorite combination of sour fuel and chocolate kerosene for their smoking pleasure. This is true top shelf all the way and we will be working this strain further into our lines in the future. BEWARE of intersex characteristics of the ECSD showing in these F1s. It is well noted across the board that while the ECSD creates fantastic hybrids, not all of the offspring will be 100% stable. Cull any unstable plants out of your selections before introduction into your production room(s). Genetics: ECSD x Kobain Kush
Indica/Sativa Hybrid
Average Flower time: 8-10 weeks
