Chemotype
Type I
THC-dominant
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Terpene profiles are sourced from Certificates of Analysis (COA) and roll out as Areto’s lab-verified data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About NL 10 Early Version
Fast flowering feminized light dependent version, this legendary Indica has been provided with a higher vigour and stability, as a result of which we have a really compact plant with the features of a great Indica. NL 10 is a bush-shaped, medium to high plant that displays plenty of branches with big dark green leaves and thick colas which yield heavy resinous buds. An easy to grow, fast flowering plant that can produce several crops per year. Her size and high resistance to plagues and diseases make her suitable for indoor growing, though she’ll give excellent results too when grown outdoors in warm Mediterranean climates. A remarkable strain with a powerful sedating effect which makes her ideally suited to relieve stress, insomnia and pain. She has an intense aroma and a pleasant sweet flavour with earthy touches and light hints of honey, juniper and lemon. Genetic origin: NL10 X SECRET HYBRID
