Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Northern Vision is an old and well known strain. This plant was developed in the 70’s and is still popular today. In the 80’s this strain reached Holland. Northern Vision is partially developed from the Afghan Indica plant and is known for it’s beautiful characteristics. She’s not a big plant, but it’s a real THC factory.
