Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About NorthStar
NorthStar is my attempt at an NL5 leaning version of Neville’s Haze.
The Mom is my NL5Haze/SensiStar F3 #5 girl from Mel Frank that I used to make half of those F4's. Spicy Hazy NL5Haze leaner with a Sensi Star frame. Crystal clear daytime high you can get stuff done on with ZERO anxiety or paranoia. I like to call it the HD（High-Def） high. She can be mildly psychedelic in large doses. The male was Starlite, made by Rocket. It's Karma Genetic's A5Haze S1 x Melvanetic's 89'NL5. So the full lineage is （{NL5 x Haze C} x Sensi Star） F3 #5 x （{NL5 x Haze A} S1 x NL5 BX8）. This line comes out really uniform with ~2x stretch on all plants. Only real variation is on flower structure, but they all have big fat flowers. Yield is really good on this line. Effects are mostly NL5Haze, soaring daytime high all day, with some leaning a bit more to the Columbian Haze, and some leaning a bit more to the NL5
