Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 70%Sativa 30%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Obsidian Melt
OBSIDIAN MELT™ = EpoxyX x EpoxyX (S1)
A true genetic powerhouse, with stability, consistency, and an absurd amount of trichome coverage.
Visually: dark, compact flowers, thick leaves, and a silvery-white sheen all over.
Aroma: a classic fuel-heavy profile, with earthy, kushy notes and a slight chemical undertone. But where it shines (literally) is in the extractions:
💥 Bubble hash that melts perfectly.
💥 Dry sift like pressed snow.
💥 Rosin slabs with light colors and popping terpenes
