Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Using an intensely odourous Blood Orange female and our most orange hashy Marion Davies male, we have nailed that big citrus West Coast flavour, whilst bumping up the potency. Has a very big yield potential as well. Very easy strain to grow and the perfect beginner strain. Will be a big favourite in any collection.
