Terpene profile most dominant first
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). The dominant terpenes below are aggregated from community and lab reporting; aroma and effect associations are preliminary and not medical claims. Lab-verified COA profiles roll out as Areto’s data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Orange Velvet Underground
Orange Velvet Underground Rbx is a cross between (Sour Tangie x Mandarin Sunset) x Orange Velvet (elite clone). Orange Velvet clone is a local Orange Skunk selection used by TGA Subcool in the past. The result is a plant notable for its strong oriental orange terpenes, with citric acid present but with a noticeable sour finish in the mouth. This variety grows vigorously yet very manageable and not difficult to cultivate. It develops an abundant lateral ramification, where the buds gather to form clusters the size of a baseball bat. Towards the end of the flowering stage it acquires bluish colourations when temperatures drop, making it a real eye-catcher. Orange Velvet Underground Rbx, powerful cannabis without notice
Orange Velvet Underground Rbx has a flowering period of about 8-9 weeks indoors, with the harvest ready in early October outdoors where it offers a high yield. It is advisable to stake the branches to support the buds weight properly. It is possible to perform extractions with a spectacular terpene, for which the harvest should be done a bit earlier. Care should be taken with this hybrid effects, with a THC level of over 25%. The orange citric flavour can be misleading
