Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 100%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Oregon Afghani
The Oregon Afghani clone has been around for 30+ years. It came from landrace seeds that greatly resemble a pure OG Kush. Its very heavy, and will induce couch-lock almost instantly. A very old Afghani clone that has been past down through several generations. The first time I tried the Oregon Afghani was in 1996 when I arrived to the state. She tastes of earthy/coffee/kush and extremely potent with a narcotic effect that will topple the biggest tolerance. She is also very stable and has proven to help stabilize offspring out of the several crosses that I've used her for, thus making her an ideal canna-date for the males in the stable. (Professor P)
