Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 100%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Original Afghani No1
Afghani No 1 is a traditional landrace that was brought from the mountains in afghanistan in the early 70's by sacred seeds. It is one of the first pure indica landraces that was in the base of many strains that we know today. She is known for her rockhard buds and sticky resin that is used for the production of hash Because of the pureness of the genetics this strain is suited for breeding projects that need a strong indica influence
