Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica 30%Sativa 70%
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Outback Haze x Papua New Guinea
Neville’s Outback x Papua New Guinea Sativa is an almost pure sativa poly-hybrid created by pollinating Neville’s legendary Outback with more than 30 wild Papua New Guinea sativa males. This genetic diversity delivers exceptional hybrid vigor, outstanding mold resistance, and a true old-school sativa character.
With a 95% sativa dominance, this variety thrives outdoors in tropical and subtropical climates, where it can fully express its size, vigor, and resilience. Thanks to its very high resistance to botrytis and powder mildew, it is especially well suited to humid environments. Experienced indoor sativa growers with ample space and patience can also successfully cultivate it. The terpene profile is unmistakably Thai-influenced, combining bright citrus notes with floral and herbal undertones. Effects are powerful, energetic, and electric, delivering a soaring cerebral high with no ceiling and no heavy body stone—ideal for creativity, focus, and daytime use.
