Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Panama x PCK develops with the compact and manageable size and fast flowering of the pakistani, with Panama contributing more vigor, potency, yield and branching. Abundant resin production, with a very appealing and complex terpene profile that blends the more spectacular strawberry and blackberry bubble gum aromas bathed in coffee of the pakistani, with the lemony and incensey Central American sativa terpenes from Panama.
