Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Partizan Express
The original feminized version of Partizan was so armor-piercing and rich in THC and terpenes that we decided to create an express version, since success needs to be consolidated and developed. Partizan Express retains all the characteristics of the original plant without exception, but matures a little faster, as do all varieties in the Express line. Like its feminized older brother, the variety has proven to be excellent when grown in “out” and “indora”. If really tried and planted in sunny and warm climates, the buds can bestow 33% of the savoring THC. It has a bright, unlike anything else flavor that comes from crossing our legendary Kuban Killer with some of the best of American genetics.
