Chemotype
Type I
THC-dominant
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Terpene profiles are sourced from Certificates of Analysis (COA) and roll out as Areto’s lab-verified data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Partizan
We worked on this strain for three years, as we had more time than usual during covid times. The goal was simple: to create a strong, hardy variety with a lot of THC and unpretentious, resistant to temperature fluctuations and fungal diseases. Partizan has proven to be a great grower in both “out” and “in” trials. With a professional approach to growing, the THC level reaches 33%, and we think this is not the limit, because the range of fertilizers and additives is growing, and each grower tries his own combination. Great for making various potent extracts with alcohol, butane, CO2. BHO and Rosin based on it turn out just magical. It has a bright, unlike anything else flavor that comes from crossing our legendary Kuban Killer with some of the best representatives of American genetics. The smell is hard to describe, but you can’t help but like it! The smoking effect is long-lasting and “overkill. Genetics: Godfather OG x Do-Si-Dos x Kuban Killer
