Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Peak 19 Special

This seeds resulted from crossing the best female with the best male out of 40 seeds we purchased from Tony himself in Amsterdam, making it a heavy select, which is important given the wide variability of this breed. Tremendous genetics, very popular everywhere as it combines the Cambodian background of the Stonehedge with the big yielding power of the Matanuska Thunderf_k
