Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Peyote Cookies is a very early 95% Indica hybrid created by Barney's Farm.
Barney's Farm used their Cookies Kush and Peyote Purple, a strain famous for its abundant resin production. Thus, Peyote Cookies grows compact and is easy to grow, recommended for novice farmers. It grows up to 1 metre in height and ends its flowering in 49-55 days, time in which it produces 550-600g/m2 indoors. Due to its heavy buds, using meshes or supports is recommended. Besides their amazing resin production, Peyote Cookies buds also develop beautiful purple and reddish hues at the end of the bloom stage. Its high resistance to molds makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation, where it is normally harvested during September in the Northern hemisphere.
