Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Pina Rita
During the 70s, Highland Oaxacan Gold was one of the finest cannabis strains available in the USA, coming from the Oaxaca mountains in north Mexico. This weed was highly appreciated for its unique spicy, woody and fruity flavor, as well as for its cerebral and stimulant high. This variety was successfully used by Norstar Genetics, who then shared their genetics with TGA. Subcool felt in love with the scent of this Sativa landrace and decided to make an hybrid with Space Queen, specifically with his favorite male, Space Dude. And so Pina Rita was born! TGA's Pina Rita blends the flavor of both parents, resulting in sweet and fruity notes with candy, cherry and pineapple undertones. The effect os this strain is euphoric and cerebral, ideal to improve mood and motivate. It stretches moderately (x2) during the flowering stage, either indoors or outdoors.
