Chemotype
Type I
THC-dominant
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the lab-verifiable signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). Cannabinoid type is set largely by a single gene (the THC:CBD ratio); about 96% of commercial flower is Type I, THC-dominant. Terpene profiles are sourced from Certificates of Analysis (COA) and roll out as Areto’s lab-verified data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Pineapple Sorbet F4
It is a Pinneaple Sorbet selection [(Heirloom Pineapple Thai x In The Pines F3) x (Zkittlez x Magnum Opus F11)], a breeding and stabilization work over 4 generations to obtain an F4 that met the seed bank breeders high expectations. The result is a branchy and vigorous plant with a Sativa hybrid appearance. It is ideal for SCROG cultivation using pruning and moulding techniques such as topping and main-lining. Pineapple Sorbet F4, a Sativa hybrid with a ripe and nuanced pineapple aroma
The plant stretches quite a bit during the flowering stage, but it is easy to manage offering a good balance between lushness and malleability. It offers abundant production with little work, perhaps simply by staking it out. The harvest is ready after about 9-10 weeks of flowering, offering a bud yield of up to 550g per m2 in an indoor grow tent, and a yield of more than 800g per plant cultivated outdoors in open ground. It produces large, hard and bulky buds completely covered with bright and aromatic resin trichomes during flowering. It is a good candidate for resin extraction lovers.
