Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 50%Sativa 50%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Pink Honey

Pink Honey is the result of pollinating an elite cut of Papaya x GMO with reversed fem pollen from our Ozark (Oz Kush x Jealousy) keeper. The terp profile on the Papaya x GMO cut we used leans heavily towards the tropical papaya side of things, while inheriting the copious production of sandy trichome heads and stretchy growth from its GMO lineage. Our Ozark keeper is a proven crowd pleaser among even the pickiest of connoisseurs. A perfect balance of Z / Sherb terps and dense colorful nugs which pack a potent punch. The progeny of this resulting hybrid are littered with phenotypes displaying vibrant pink pistils, a trait commonly found in the original Papaya, as well as a number of plants with gritty, weak neck trichomes heads which are well suited for fresh frozen water hash. The dominant nose is tropical fruits with undertones of exotic sherb/zkittlez aromas. Pink Honey has been rigorously tested both indoor and outdoor, thriving in both settings and delivering resilient plants consistently. Expect a flowering time of 8-9 weeks with a medium to high stretch
