When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). This poly-hybrid is a cross between (Sunset Sherbert × Do Si Dos) and (Zkittlez x Dos i Dos), producing vigorous and well-branched plants. They adapt well to pruning and SCROG cultivation in order to maximise flower production. Planet Purple matures after about 65-70 days of flowering, producing fleshy buds with purple calyxes contrasting with its white thick resin layer.
