When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Platinum Bubble Kush (Platinum Bubba Kush x Massachusetts Super Skunk x Sour Bubble)
Joint project with Drawoh of Collectable Seeds. Platinum Bubba Kush is my favorite Bubba Kush. It has an amazing amount of resin that coats the spear like, dense buds like crystal icing. Shades of purple, red, blue, orange and yellow is striking in flower when grown properly. A super easy strain to trim and the leaflets are covered in crystalline resin as well, making it great for concentrates. Pollinating this awesome Platinum Bubba Kush with the Mass Super Skunk x Sour Bubble male has increased the size of the buds, made them rock hard and gives it more of an original OG Kush smell and taste to the finished flowers. This is the 3rd Generation backcrossed to the original Platinum Bubba Kush clone. So the first generation was grown out and the best males were selected and used to pollinate the original Platinum Bubba Kush clone. Then the 2nd Generation was grown out and the best males were used to pollinate the original clone. This is the 3rd Generation offered so as to stabilize the qualities that people love about the original Platinum Bubba while improving it with the Mass Sour Bubbles genetics
