Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). This was a project with my M.A.C. F2 I ran for years and wanted to give it a little more gassy sweet flavor. Adding the Slurricane F1 to it gave it a almost rotten meat funk while flowering with some of the most beautiful colors emerge when late in flower
