When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The Purebred Lion is a strong indica with a sweet pine smell. It is a resinous strain with darker hues and can turn amber and purple in flower. This strain produces good yield with dense golf ball sized colas and requires little trimming. It is a hardy plant that responds well to topping & pruning. Clones root quicker than most strains
