Terpene profile most dominant first
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). The dominant terpenes below are aggregated from community and lab reporting; aroma and effect associations are preliminary and not medical claims. Lab-verified COA profiles roll out as Areto’s data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Purple Cream
When Purple Nepal aka Delphina meets Orange Nectar... We were lucky enough to be able to select a plant very similar to the flowers given to us by Sunshine by @sunboldtgrown on a trip to the famous Avenue of the Giants in the Red Woods in 2019. They were favorite flowers on that trip. An incredible sweet vanilla diesel smell like a dessert, crossing it with our Orange Nectar was a no brainer. The result is incredible, it produces medium to large plants, beautiful flowers with shades of purple and white resin, with an intoxicating vanilla cake smell amplified by tones of orange diesel. Some phenotypes with a bewitching scent and dark purple colors are impressively beautiful. The effect is very powerful and positive, the high lasts a long time without being too dull with a good body relaxation
