Type I
THC-dominant
Terpene profile most dominant first
Chemotype — the cannabinoid and terpene profile — is the signal that stays true to a cultivar’s genetics, which is why scientists classify cannabis by chemical profile (a “chemovar”) rather than by name (Hazekamp & Fischedick 2012). The dominant terpenes below are aggregated from community and lab reporting; aroma and effect associations are preliminary and not medical claims. Lab-verified COA profiles roll out as Areto’s data comes online.
Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Purple Dream
GDP present here the medicinal variety Purple Dream, a mostly Sativa strain very effective to treat pains that will not leave the patient sedated thanks to its Sativa side. It is a hybrid between Blue Dream and Grand Daddy Purple, bushy and well branched and with thin and long leaflets. The structure is bushy and pyramidal, developing side branches almost as long as the main stem. Thus, it is a suitable variety for the SCROG technique. It takes around 9-11 weeks to fully ripe, yielding 450gr/m2. If temperatures drop at the end of the flowering stage it can develop beautiful purple colours that contrast with the intense orange pistils. The scent of this therapeutical variety is sour, with piney notes and sweet and fruity undertones. The effect is very pleasant, relaxing your body while improving your mood and compatible with other activities. Purple Dream from Grand Daddy Purple features: Genetics: Blue Dream x Grand Daddy Purple
60% Sativa - 40% Indica hybrid
Type: Regular Seeds
Indoor flowering: 9-11 weeks
Outdoor harvest: late October
Yield: up to 450 gr/m2
