Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Purple Fig #1
Purple Fig #1 is another strain that has been in our stable since the mid 90's. I am not sure exactly what it is, but if I had to guess I would say it is probably Grape Ape. When grown organically, she has an incredible grape essence that lingers on the palate. She is mostly indica & finishes in about 60 days indoor. She grows tight nugs even outdoor. She is pest resistant & a major resin producer & heavy yielder. This is the "P" in our flagship P.I.M. #1
