Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Purple Outlaw

The Gorilla Grape Gush mother is from seed-stock of KenDogSmoke's creation. All the pheno exhibited deep dark purple hues except for one. The keeper was bright pink and smelled of cotton candy and body odor. It grows fast and vigorous and is sensitive to touch, as one clumsy brush of the flowers will make the whole garden smell like a carnival booth after a long sweaty day. She puts out tons of color and she has a musky, lip-smackingly sweet flavor that will complement the colorful bowls you can endlessly pack as the day drifts away with this strong hybrid
