Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Purple Pakistani Chitral

A reproduction of Bodhi’s work which originated with Cannabiogen. Three of the most colorful and potent females were reserved along with two males that exhibited anthocyanin production without lower temperatures. These are on the shorter side with a lot of lateral branching, flowers smell of musk with some hints of perfume and an acrid chemical end to them with small, rather wet resin glands. Very calming effects on with some couchlock in the later harvest at around 65 days
