When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Quarantine Buddy is a cross between Magic Melon and Tangerine Cookies. On the one hand Magic Melon, a phenotype of contained stature. It has a euphoric effect with very fruity ripe melon, tropical mango and berry sweet flavours. Magic Melon comes from a Hundbolt Seed Company selection, the plant was the best chosen, excelling on many levels, both in terpenes, structure and yields. On the other hand, Tangerine Cookies, a very special cutting that reaches THC levels of 29% and a terpene concentration of 5.1%, its cream, gas and orange flavours stand out strongly. This is the highest terpenes content Elev8 Seeds has seen to date. Tangerine Cookies is a good yielding strain that produces large amounts of trichomes.
