Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Rain bird was bred by my boy dos Rios Dylan and it’s an F4 seed selection – it’s crossed with platinum cookie jag goo with a local heirloom and harvests in mid to late August. It’s a crazy production strain for production row croppers who want regular seeds and not autos but an August harvest. The B9 is a legit pure old school Afghani that was stabilized and shared in the Covelo area for quite some time from the 80’s Dos Rio Dylan is the founder of Waska one of the oldest edible companies in Cali and he’s based out of dos Rios / Covelo area
