Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Grow Type: Outdoors, greenhouse Direct from Rasol village, this strain produces highly distinctive hand-rubbed charas. The best Rasoli charas is recognizable by its amber colour and inimitable aroma. It’s regarded by many aficionados as the finest charas of the Parvati region, better even than Malana. Expect tall plants with long internodes and loose, intensely resinous Sativa-type buds. Most of all, expect gorgeous aromas and smooth, blissful highs. One theory is that the Rasoli strain began as a hybrid between introduced Nepali plants and the original Malana landrace.
