Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 30%Sativa 70%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Red Widow-13

The original ECSD (circa 2002) Mother was crossed with Red Haze (Panama Red x NL#5/Haze) male. An extremely potent female of the resulting cross was then pollinated by a (STS) reversed, extremely stable (F6) G13 x Black Widow (GBW) Mother. GBW is noted for her very short and uniform stature, as well as a very potent Indica high. Flowering Time: 63-70 days Yield: Dependent on growing environment, techniques and skills used
