Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide

Indica 70%Sativa 30%

Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Roasted Lemons

Our tallest and fastest growing plant. Pink Lemonade is clone only, no lineage known, with some amazing fruit punch flavors. Wet weight returns will be about 2-3% at best, but the amount of biomass will make up for the slack giving: ~100g per meter squared (numbers are large micron, high quality, ice water extract).
