Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). Plants stay fairly compact with not too much stretch and flower fast. They all really shine in the buzz department; highly potent mind candy that clouds the head and relaxes the body without putting you in a chair.
