Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). The labels are so fluid that AK-47, a hybrid, won “Best Sativa” at the 1999 Cannabis Cup and “Best Indica” four years later. For an accurate, genetics-true picture, see the chemotype above.

About Rooie Marie
This is a wonderfull crossing of a purple selection of Shaman and Santa Maria F7 #4. This very uplifting 80% sativa has a fruity smell and some plants turns to reddish / purple collors. It grows well inside with HPS lamps in soil and hydro. (> 450-500 gr. In SOG.) When selecting a good mother, look for a nice smelling reddish plant. Easy to clone. Also good outside in Holland (not tested in other places) and in greenhouses. Can be grown very compact in SOG when sown direct on 12/12. Won the 1.st price in 2010 on the harvest festival in Wageningen
