Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). We have crossed the famous UK Cheese clone, a great old school skunk elite clone from the 80s, with the more hashplant indica Orient Express pheno. The result is a sativa/indica that keeps the deep, fermented, musky and skunky organic aromas of the best old skunks, with improved vigour, yield, mold and outdoor resistance thanks to the vietnamese sativa influence from our Orient Express.
