Indica / Sativa — retail shopping guide
Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Royal THCV
THCV is a rare cannabinoid found in certain South African genetics, in particular the famous Durban Haze. Royal Queen Seed’s seedbank used these pure Sativa genetics in an extensive selection to find specimens that contained this cannabinoid. The result is Royal THCV, a 95 / 5 Sativa Indica plant. Royal THCV is suitable for all growing environments and conditions. These plants, in indoor cultivation under artificial light can reach up to 80-120cm. It has a flowering period of about 9-10 weeks after the photoperiod change. It offers a yield of up to 50-550g per m2 depending on the growing conditions.
