Indica, sativa and hybrid are a retail shopping convention — not a reliable guide to genetics or effects. When researchers analysed 89,923 commercial samples across six states, these labels did not predict a plant’s terpene or cannabinoid profile, and a genome-wide study found sativa- and indica-labelled plants to be genetically indistinct (PLOS ONE 2022; Nature Plants 2021). About Rubikz Cube
In 2018 the Zcube we received was labeled as "Zkittlez" and was entered as a clone with the rest of our pheno hunt. She quickly exceeded our expectations displayed herself as a hash superstar....Generously, producing over 5% of delicious, candied, gassy hash on FF material. Once we experienced the resin texture, flavor, and potency, we realized and verified that we were working with a different breed of Zkittlez; the Zcube, an elite cultivar for hash making. The Zcube （a Zkittlez BX） became the Mother for our future seed making projects, specifically due to the large coated resin heads. To preserve the rare Z profiles, to avoid dilution, and to further the expressions of the Zkittlez terpene profiles, we decided to pair it with Rainbow Belts 2.0. We purchased 3 packs of Rainbow Belts 2.0 from Archive Seed Bank and searched for a male with vigor and faster root time to compliment the Zcube. The duo is a complex array of Z profiles in seed form. Flavors ranging from sweet, original Zkittlez, to tangy orange/lime, and some rare grape Zkittlez profiles. We are excited to see and share future RubickZ Cube projects which will involve more varieties of Zcube and back to the original Zkitt
